Data We Process

App Users

You do not need to create an account to use the Pinfinity app. However, when you scan a pin, we collect information such as:

  • Pins you've scanned
  • GPS location
  • IP address
  • Advertising ID
  • Device type and operating system
  • Interaction data (time, frequency, dwell time)

This data helps us deliver accurate AR content and improve user experience. We process it based on our legitimate interest. Your identifiable information is never shared outside of Pinfinity.

If an AR interaction is linked to a client, we may share aggregated, non-identifiable usage data with them to help measure performance.

Clients & Prospective Clients

If you are a Pinfinity client or are exploring a partnership, we may collect your:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Business information
  • Any content you provide (e.g., digital images)

This information is used to fulfill services or manage potential contracts.

Data Storage & Transfers

Your data is securely stored on servers located in the U.S. and Europe, operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS). By using Pinfinity Services, you consent to this storage and transfer. Different regions may have different data protection laws.

How We Share Your Data

  • Service Providers – We work with vendors who help us provide cloud storage, customer support, email marketing, and other services.
  • Clients – If you participate in an experience that includes personal data (e.g., a contest), we may share that information with the client and notify you in advance.
  • Legal & Security – We may share your data to comply with laws, respond to legal requests, or protect against fraud and abuse.
  • Business Transactions – Your data may be transferred if we are involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition.
